Confirmatory method on Non-Asbestos Materials Usage
It is prohibited to apply Asbestos materials to all the things by Industrial Safety and Health Act from September 1st，2006.
Also, internationally, newly adaptation of Asbestos material is prohibited from January 1st, 2011 by the advice of SOLAS of IMO.
IMO declared Non-usage of Asbestos on the 90th meeting held of SOLAS on May 2012 aiming to safety execution on Non-usage of Asbestos material.
It was approved that;
In case of new products to install on new building ship, ‘Asbestos-Free Declaration’ should be issued at manufacturing time.
And in case of spare parts on board storage, the same declaration should be issued at use time, then inspection organization would examin at yearly inspection of ship.

We, Teikoku Machinery Works, Ltd., were established on February 1909 as a pump manufacture. We are a company having oldest history in Japan as for specializing in pump manufacture. Since then, we have been concentrating to brush up our technology and to make big effort for the improvement of our products.
Ever since the pump for marine market was put in line with our products on 1930, line-up of our products become the pumps for land use and for marine use. According to the customer's well recognition and warm acceptance, we have been enjoying satisfactorily development.
In 1996, Osaka factory, where was being felt strong affinity for longer years from many customers, was closed, and Matsusaka Factory was constructed in Matsusaka City in Mie Prefecture as a new and powerful factory. Since then productivity become double efficiently by enrichment of various machines and test facilities.
In 1999, we successfully obtained ISO9001 that was approved by LRQA (Lloyd's Register of Shipping).
We would like to express our sincere thankfulness to all customers because our success is due entirely to our customers' great and favored support to Teikoku.
We do hope to manufacture more and better products enabling to reply to our customers' all the kindness and favors.
Our innovative design pumps are now being supplied to various plants/projects and vessels built at domestic and foreign shipbuilders. In such pumps, Dolphin type design configuration in vertical centrifugal pumps is become now mainstream in marine pump manufacturers, which is kept in higher level and leaded in technically.
In order to make jump up more and efficient productivity, we are devoting ourselves into study of technical research and development based on traditional and rich experiences.
For manufacturing know-how of Starting Air Compressor for marine diesel engine we now endeavor to establish and reflect to our line of products in order to meet customer's requirements.
